SCHOLARS

LEARN

  • Learn core concepts from the industry you aim to pursue, whether this be the sciences or the arts, from top industry professionals

  • Develop core technical and soft skills to thrive in a professional environment

  • Gain exclusive access to our Speaker Series where you can continue to develop your skills

ADVISE

  • Advise and support students who are currently seeking to enter your specific career

  • Meet with students on a weekly or bi-weekly basis and set goals for progress, whether this be skill building, informative sessions regarding your job, and much more!

  • Serve as a role-model for high school and undergraduate students who are starting to break into a career with hopes of pursuing leadership and executive positions

Over a four-month period, a Scholar, will:

NETWORK

  • Bond with your mentor and meet key company executives who can support you throughout your career

  • Build relationships with fellow Girls Who Lead scholars that will span beyond your 4-month mentorship

  • Attend the Speaker Series and create connections with leading industry professionals

CHALLENGE

  • Challenge motivated students who are established leaders in their communities to think outside of the box in relation to their aspired career path

  • Work with mentees to identify their questions and fuel collaborative problem solving

GROW

  • As you learn new skills and network, you will be able to:

    (1) See if a career is a fit for you

    (2) Open yourself to career opportunities and internships with partnered companies and institutions

    (3) Gain a network of young women who are tomorrow’s face of global leadership

MENTORS

Over a four-month period, a Mentor will:

NETWORK

  • Network with Girls Who Lead Mentors and Mentees and build relationships that will span beyond your 4-month mentorship

  • Establish a partnership with Girls Who Lead to provide your company with a tangible mechanism for strengthening gender diversity of your team
